A Profile of Clinical Depression in Canada

Abstract

The RDC Synthesis Series brings together research findings on specific topics from studies of Statistics Canada census and survey data carried out primarily in Research Data Centres across Canada. Designed for policy-makers and other non-specialists, these reports also aim to inform specialists across Canada of others working in their field. This issue focuses on major depression, presenting findings from analyses of NPHS and CCHS survey data and discussing their policy implications.
