Abstract

The article discusses the rights of the employees to refuse on dangerous work including the exposure to contaminants and occupational disease in Canada. It highlights the legal obligation of the employers to protect their workers from dangers or occupational harm. It also notes that the employer may require the refusing worker to remain at the work site without loss of pay if he or she is reasonably capable of performing.
