Abstract

Effects and Benefits of eHealth: Lessons Learned in Four Continents: Presented is the development of a mobile vital signs monitoring system based on vendor-independent open communication standards, such as Bluetooth wireless technology and the CEN ISO / IEEE 11073, allowing plug-and-play interoperability and therefore a rapid and easy assembly of wearable devices.
