Most of the time, market-driven software products are characterized by volatile features and instable resources. These changes may jeopardize the software success both functionally and financially. Re-planning software releases by selecting the right subset of features is complex and significant. Through this research, we have a methodology to integrate change requests as they arise through the software development cycle. The main contributions of this research can be listed as follows: 1. A Flexible method for re-planning of software product releases. 2. The change threshold factor is a new contribution to this area of research. 3. We have built a model and described how the re-planning process should be conducted. 4. A genetic algorithm to generate a set of re-planned release alternatives where we can compare between them in terms of value/risk or resources consumption. 5. Initial evaluation of the re-planning method proposed by preforming a hypothetical case study.
