Abstract

National Experiences in Telemedicine and eHealth: The presentation will shortly describe the development of telemedicine and eHealth in Finland and the current national project for electronic patient record. It will make a reference to the use of wireless technology in Finnish health care. Finally the presentation will give a status of the Finnish Society of Telemedicine (FST), having the longest tradition in this field in Europe.
