Abstract

There is growing concern amongst Canadians today regarding the level of carbon emissions that industry and individuals alike are producing. In order to successfully reduce emissions and combat climate change, there needs to be a cohesive federal policy that enables provinces to do so while catering to their own unique economies. A revenue neutral carbon pricing system with broad coverage administered by provincial governments and enforced by the federal government is the best option moving forward.
