Abstract

This presentation discusses some of the key decisions required when developing collection policies for an institutional repository.

Description

This presentation was given at the CARL sponsored workshop entitled, Institutional Repositories: The Future is Now. The Workshop was held on October 13, 2004 in Halifax, Nova Scotia as a preconference day for the Access 2004 conference.

The University of Calgary is situated on land Northwest of where the Bow River meets the Elbow River, a site traditionally known as Moh’kins’tsis to the Blackfoot, Wîchîspa to the Stoney Nakoda, and Guts’ists’i to the Tsuut’ina. On this land and in this place we strive to learn together, walk together, and grow together “in a good way.”
