The Peer Roamer program at the Taylor Family Digital Library was launched in fall 2012 as a collaborative project between the Library and the Student Success Centre at the University of Calgary. Students, both paid and volunteers, are present throughout the six floors of the library providing basic reference, directional assistance, and academic, writing and citation support to their peers. This presentation will provide an overview of the Learning Commons Peer Roamer program. Topics include benefits of collaboration in selection, training, service promotion, as well as working with student volunteers.en_US
