Abstract

This vignette describes our relationship as mentor and mentee at Werklund School of Education. Garry, a former teacher and principal with the Calgary Board of Education, has been a sessional instructor at Werklund for nine years. Raisa, an elementary teacher, adult educator, and curriculum developer is currently pursuing an EdD. Together we explore the nuances of mentorship and its transformative impact on both mentor and mentee.
