Abstract

Washington State's Needs Assessment Household Survey project interviewed 6,713 adults to estimate the prevalence of substance use and the need for substance abuse treatment among adult household residents. The 2003 survey estimates update findings from a similar survey conducted 10 years ago. Detailed reports for each of Washington’s 39 counties and supplemental tables are available separately.
