Abstract

Effects and Benefits of eHealth: Lessons Learned in Four Continents: The aging of the population will have serious consequences on public finances and traditional health services demand. Home monitoring and homecare applications will allow older people to stay at home instead of being institutionalized, and thus relieve the burden on the public health system.
