dc.description.abstractmagine what a healthy Culture of Fearlessness might look like? What might a healthier role of fear look like? How can citizens support each other in deep ways that really make a difference for the good of all? This introductory video describes the basics of Dr. R. Michael Fisher's latest initiative to kick-start a social movement called Citizen's Against Fearmongering (CAF) campaign and a specific program behind it called Life Enhancement Training (L. E. T.). Fisher explains how fear in excess is the greatest barrier to healthy individuals, human potential and communities of cooperation--whereby they need the education they missed growing up. This new educational praxis is one deeply critical of the current "culture of fear" and mistrust and injustice, and L. E. T. provides ways of learning to recover and heal, and transform the fear-based habits of coping cultures. Nothing less than "liberation" is Dr. Fisher's agenda, and he invites all people, and communities to join this movement. He will gladly discuss options of how he could help partner with others and facilitate the change we all need. The world crises are only going to get worse, and we need resilient capacities that are typically not available in our norm coping ways of living.
