"Learning to breathe": a written accompaniment to the thesis exhibition

Abstract

Learning to Breathe is the title of sculptural works presented for my thesis exhibition of which this support paper falls under the same name. Learning to Breathe is formed of elements from separate works made over the past two years and put together as an integrated whole. All of the pieces in this exhibition are linked both formally and conceptually. Discussion in this paper stems from this premise.
